Join us for an expanded St. kilda Challenge in 2018 as we join forces with Comann na Mara in their Bi-Annual St. Kilda event.  In 2018 the Ocean Sailing Scotland St. Kilda challenge is a three stage event starting at our home marina of Kip.  Heading out into the Clyde we will undertake three days of ocean race training as we sail to Rathlin Island where we will stop to join the rest of the race fleet and undertake some final preperations.

The 14th June will then see us join the St. Kilda Challenge passage race fleet as we cross the start line for a race to the stunning St. Kilda Archipelago.  Weather permitting we will then spend some time at anchor, hopefully allowing you to spend time ashore in this amazing historical location.

We will then plan to undertake a night sail to arrive into Lochmaddy on Saturday 16th June to enjoy the onshore festival organised by Comann na Mara.  With prize giving over we will then depart for Oban on the 19th June.  Stopping in some of the west coast’s stunning locations we plan to arrive into Oban on the 21st June.  Crew will need to depart by noon on the 22 June
